- Welcome to Term 4!
- We have all been working extremely hard at improving our writing through reflective thinking! Each day we had to edit our writing using our success-o-meter and have learned how to give feedback to our peers in small groups. All of us have improved our writing at least one sub level on our school writing continuum. We all chose one piece of writing we believed to be our best in relation to the learning we had covered in writing and sat with Mrs Keightley to set our next learning steps. You will see these next steps on our individual pages. Most of our in-class work was through daily practice in writing using success criteria. However, we also had specific vocabulary / literacy games to play at reading time to help improve our knowledge of adjectives, nouns, verbs and building sentences. We also used the learning links on our wiki and school intranet as ICT tools. Some of us used Kidpix to type our writing or Photo booth to record what we said. These two tools were great for showing us how important it is to check spelling and that what we say makes sense. Over the next two weeks we will be putting what we think is a STUNNING piece of writing on our pages to share with you and you can give us feedback as to whether our goals are being met!
